At the end of 2008, our team created the new version of the online store for Svyaznoy. The final product was based on the 1C-Bitrix: Site management platform. This version was the logical continuation of the large-scale marketing campaign to rework and modernize the company image.

A complex data storage model was implemented to contain information about goods, their associated costs, and product availabilities — which varied by region. Each product category had separate defined sets of properties to account for regional shipping, currency, and more. Flexible search filters were implemented in the goods catalog to reflect accurate availability within the selected regions.
