Major Milestones

In the beginning of 2006, the QSOFT team had been tasked with the development of Eldorado company’s online store. As a result, we created an online store, and integrated with SAP R3 on the 1C-Bitrix: site management platform in just 4 short months.

By 2007, the project has become the largest online retailer of home appliances in Russia. Reaching 2 million hits per day, the online store’s turnover in 2007 was $60 million. Development continued rapidly and for the first half of 2009, Eldorado has increased online sales by 40%.

For the first time in Russia we implemented “In-store pickup”, which allows customers to order items online and pick them up at any store in Russia. We also included a way to check online availability of goods in any store, and reserve them. This task required the development of a special data exchange interface between the website and the accounting systems of Eldorado.

As a result of four years of continuous development, we have created a unique set of tools which provides the store with market leader attributes. The automation system we’ve developed includes internal office interfaces for management, interfaces for marketing campaigns, a product recommendation engine, and deep integration with ERP and warehouse programs.
